WoodGreen Foundation

Youth Housing Navigator

WoodGreen Community Services is one of the largest social service organizations in Toronto, with 75 programs delivered across 40 locations, they have developed a seamless continuum of care that addresses the root causes of poverty and constantly innovates to create long-term solutions to the most critical social issues facing our city today.

WoodGreen’s Youth Wellness Centre frames programming around the Social Determinants of Health and our vision is to provide multiple facets of support. As housing is a core determinant, we are excited to have a dedicated youth housing resource and believe there are substantial benefits to this pilot - particularly since this demographic faces unique challenges on top of a challenging housing market. WoodGreen’s Youth Housing Navigator provides workshops, one-on-one support, and subsidies in order to help youth secure and maintain safe housing.
