Abuse Hurts

Q107’s 13 Days of Christmas Campaign

Abuse Hurts is a charitable organization that has served Canadians since 1993. The Centre’s mandate is to significantly reduce the incidence and impact of abuse through education and public awareness. Abuse Hurts has helped over 100,000 children, women, and men whose lives have been affected by abuse through innovative programs that breakdown barriers.

Since the inception of the foundation in 2002, AMDF has supported Abuse Hurts through Q107’s 13 Days of Christmas Campaign. The campaign and organization aims to raise awareness about the true cost of neglect and abuse and currently supports dozens of organizations including children’s services, victim’s services, shelters, and other agencies. With help from the community and corporate partners, Abuse Hurts also provides access to support, healing and individual empowerment for adult survivors, their families and caregivers.
